The COLUMBUS Group was founded in 1932 by four tour operators from Vienna who joined forces to establish a company called Austrobus. Ever since my grandfather founded the first fully licensed travel agency in 1963 and acquired Austrobus a few years later, we have been continuously expanding our scope of business and activities. Today, the COLUMBUS Group has become one of Austria’s biggest privately-owned travel organizations.
