According to the Package Travel Ordinance (PRV), customer funds for package tours and associated travel services are protected under the following conditions: The deposit is made no earlier than eleven months before the agreed end of the trip and amounts to a maximum of 20% of the travel price. The outstanding payment is made at the earliest twenty days before the start of the trip - step by step as the travel documents will he handed over to the traveler. Advance payments, final payments that exceed the invoiced price or payments that are made prematurely may not be requested and are also not secured.
Information on the statutory insolvency protection for travel services booked with COLUMBUS Reisen GmbH & Co KG. or COLUMBUS Reisen GmbH: As entities entitled to perform travel services within the meaning of the provisions of the Package Travel Ordinance (PRV, Federal Law Gazette II No. 260/2018) a bank guarantee is established at Erste Bank der österr.
